Trinity Presbyterian Church began as a New Church Development for South Tulsa. With its roots firmly in Christian learning, Trinity has continued its emphasis on education from the littlest among us to the most mature. Come grow with us.
SUNDAY GATHERING TIMES...
Sunday Gathering - 9:15 a.m.
• Year-round child care for infants through Pre-K is offered through the end of worship. Parents are invited to bring their infants and toddlers to the Nursery.
• Education classes are offered year round for kindergarteners through adults.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” (Matthew 19:14)
Our Children’s Ministry includes Sunday Nursery, Sunday Pre-school for K-5th grade and Vacation Bible School, a week-long summer evening program for the children and youth of Trinity and surrounding communities. We gather on specific Tuesday’s during the summer for Camp Trinity fun, games, stories, and science activities.
“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)
We have an active, vibrant Youth Ministry. There are two Sunday morning Christian education classes for Trinity Presbyterian youth, including middle school-aged youth (grades six through eight) and high school youth (grades nine through twelve). Both groups meet for youth activities most Sundays after worship. They are involved in various mission projects throughout the year, in addition to excursions and ongoing fellowship activities. Lunch is provided, or the groups go out to lunch. For more information, contact Sue Chancellor or John Clawson at 918.369.3690.
“In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 7:12)
Adult education at Trinity is designed to help the congregation on its spiritual journey. We hope to grow in faith in the God revealed in Jesus Christ, to understand the Bible and Christian traditions, to apply our faith as we engage in conversation with the world, and to live fully and faithfully as individuals and with our neighbors. Two adult classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15. Come learn and grow with us.
We also are scheduling “champion” classes for people who want to lead different kinds of new missions or ministries as expressions of their own faith. Among our membership are people who volunteer and coordinate different kinds of helping services for the community. We are always willing to hear what God is calling you to do as well as being willing to help you receive the training you need to participate with success.
